And so it begins

School has officially started in these parts.

'These parts' is an official term that I made official that people say when they live in a small town, and I live in a small town that's really not a small town compared to other small towns, but I considered a town a small town unless there is a Costco and a Target within a 20 mile radius, granted, we did just get a Cafe Rio so I will now upgrade my small town status to a small-ish town status.
. . . . .

So Abrie is in 3rd grade, Kaleb is in 2nd, and Macie will join them next week as she starts Kindergarten. They're excited, I'm excited and it's a win, win situation.

Abrie has a new addition this year... reading glasses. She is ridiculously thrilled to wear them.

And Kaleb will be starting school missing a little something...

And somehow this picture didn't turn out quite the way I wanted

So I took another quick picture
and managed to get the kids all smiling and looking in the same direction.

Apparently, second time's the charm.
(another picture to add to my completely non-photoshopped file)

I can't wait until my kids get to go to school (i think)! Question, is your kids skin always so smooth and pretty? How does your coloring turn out so good in every picture?!

You are hillarious. I can't tell at all that last picture was photo shopped. I love you, but sometimes I hate you because I am so often jealous of your pictures. A good hate... you see. Your kids are so darling and that subway art is amazing. I love it. I think you should make me one. Well, for my baby that is. Somehow it wouldn't be nearly as cute with my weight, height and jibberish. :)

P.S. Brad is a rock star. I love it when I feel blessed to know someone like that. Ummm. I think I'm done now.

The End.

Cute kiddos. And growing up so fast!

Kaleb is looking so grown-up to me in these pics. Stick some books on that kid's head and reverse three years back to the Primary talent show where he showcased his rad dance moves. Oh and now they are all grown up and off to school. Sad days...

Hilarious. That last picture is pure genius. I am going to try to "get" one of those myself.
