I've always been fascinated by lightning- its majestic power and hypnotizing flashes of light.
And I find myself counting as I did when I was a child...

Without fail, I'm always filled with an odd sense of excitement every time the thunder rumbles and I can feel it deep in my bones.

Tonight was one of those nights and I had front row seating...
camera info: taken with my Canon 50D & 24-70mm lens. ISO 800, AV 2.8, SS 1/25.I didn't use a tripod, just practiced my ninja skills and held super still.

Sinika, I took like 300 pictures. Out of that, only like 15 turned out, and out of that these 4 ended up being the best. It's tricky trying to take pictures of lightning... I can't wait to try it again.
So cool. They need to be in a book.
