Right now, my life is packed up in boxes.
I'm bringing everything with me in the car that I can't live without...
my kids, my husband, my hoodie, my 4 pairs of flip flops, my old T-shirts, 2 pairs of high heels, tooth brush, deodorant and some chocolate... lots of chocolate and a diet coke to help sustain me on my week long drive home.
I have mixed emotions; sad to leave this life behind, but happy to start a new one. If there is anything I've learned during this move it's that saying good bye is like pulling off a band aid... the faster you do it the less it hurts.
Much love to all of my PA friends. I will miss you dearly!

Ginnie. This may be out of the blue to hear from me... it's Annie Winchester (Fisher now). I found your blog through Jackie. Then I found your photo blog and I was so sad that you lived so far away because I wanted to hire you to take some pictures of my family. I am SO impressed with your skills. Now that you will be home, I would love to have you take some pictures when you get settled in. Let me know if you are able to do that... my email is afisher@pgahq.com I hope the move goes well. See you soon!
Ah! You're bringing back so many memories and emotions for me! I wish you the best of luck and can't wait to hear where you settle. I also can't wait to have a family picture taken by GinnieJ photography.
Oh my goodness! You have such a long drive ahead of you, but I am sure you are excited to be back here. Do you guys know where you are going to be living?
Tell Nate congrats on the graduation. That really is a great accomplishment!
Good luck with the move.
Good luck on the week long drive. Hopefully the kids will sleep!!! Sorry I didn't get to say good-bye. I'm sure will see you in Utah. Best of luck.

WHAT??? No camera on that list of things for the car?? I hope it was an oversight.. Safe travels..
I am sure your week long drive home will be one you will never forget! It actually sounds pretty fun. See ya soon! Yay!
Good luck! Call when you get settled, or if you need any help getting settled. Babysitter, unpacking, getaway at Cafe Rio, whatever you need sista!
Your computer must be a "can't live without" too. I was wondering how you are managing to blog right now. :)
Good luck on your drive back here to Utah!! You know that I will be calling to set up a photo session from you too!!
We will see you soon.
I'm going to make you a promise.
IT DOES GET EASIER.
You will miss everyone fiercely probably all summer. You may call them every day, or try my approach and call NO ONE hoping it'll help. It won't. The colony was a great thing. But you're on to bigger and better things, girl. And those people (me too!) will be your friends for life.
Something tells me your the kinda girl that could make it anywhere you go! Wish I could really get to know you! I have feeling we would be two peas in a pod. Good luck!
We miss everyone already. It's so quiet around here. Very strange. Good luck on your drive!
Your PA friends will miss you too!! (wipe away tear) I enjoyed our last visit before you left and look forward to our date in August. Cafe Rio, it's a first for me. G'Bye my friend!
I think your blog is one of the most entertaining I've ever read. It always makes me smile! You really are talented a writer.
I am so excited to have you come back home!! Let me know when you are settled and we will plan something-I want to see ya!!!
Just to let you know Ginny, we never really liked you that much. We just felt sorry for you because your so loud and annoying.
Really, we appreciate the privacy, the quite, the lack of crazy kids running around. We are thoroughly enjoying not being told "sorry my house is a wreck right now", and being free from babysitting every day.
Pretty much life is pretty good now that your gone.
Ahhh if only that were the case. What we really miss is all the laughing and playing games, and staying up too late, and eating icecream, and the genetic basis for homosexuality, and how bush and binladin are best pals, but don't worry, bush is still a good guy. We miss beautiful children knocking on our door asking for candy. I especially miss Abrie running up to me when I get home from school and giving me a hug.
Basically we just sit at home now, wondering what the Johnsons are up to now that they are on an exciting new adventure in the mother land. Don't forget about us!!!
