7 was GOOD, but 8 is BETTER

Nate and I just celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary this month. I've decided that marriage is like a fine wine (not that I would know), it just keeps getting better with time. And in all seriousness I mean every word of that.

In celebration of our 8th year anniversary I took the privilege to write a poem for me from Nate to me. So hypothetically speaking, if Nate were to write me a poem to publicly profess his extreme & ultra hot love he has for me this is, I'm sure, what it would say:

Pull out the tissues 'cause this one's a tear jerker.
(Ahem)

Ginnie, oh Ginnie, I love you so much,
I like it when you make me some grilled cheese for lunch.

Even though I strongly deny it,
when you post pictures of me sleeping secretly I like it.

You make me smile and you make me laugh
If you want, I could chart my love for you on a graph.

Your hips are so awesome. They were definitely made for birthing,
Let's make some more babies to place on this earth(ing).

I like when you sing, it reminds me of Baby Spice,
Not to mention wicked dance moves so sly like Vanilla Ice.

You are the hand to my elbow,
The giggle to my Jello,
The shimmy to my shake,
The icing on my cake.

You are my love, my life, my super-awesome everything,
And in the words of Bette, the wind beneath my wings.


Without you my life complete it would be not,
In other words dear Ginnie, I like you a lot.
