But as of right now Abrie is the only one who calls her that.
She's been called an assortment of names so far like,

(with the E pronounced the same as in eden)
dottie
dort
the edge
E
eve
(technically it's not too far off since eve was there in the garden of eden)
lil' monkey
macie
&
baby
I would say 90% of the time when I try to say her name Macie comes out instead of Eden so I find it easier just to call her baby or lil' monkey.
For some reason it's just not natural for me to call my babies by their names for the first little while. I guess I'm weird like that...
Is it just me?
But slowly, day by day, her sweet little name is starting to fit her.And really, I think it's the only name for her...
well that and babylicious, but I'll save that name for my next child.

Congrats! She is beautiful. I'm with you I give our child a name and end up calling them 100 other things along with it. I think thats a good thing. It's fun to look back and think of all the different names you called them and how it reminded you of something they loved, did, or looked like. Sounds like those kids are loving her. She is a doll!

I love nicknames! And it's always weird to actually call them by their name at first. I think most people are like that- aren't they?
We called Mc Bum Bum forever...who knows where nicnames come from :) She is edible...love her little chin. Just want to love on her!

Congrats, Ginnie! It's been fun to watch us be pregnant and have babies on the same timeline (our baby was born on July 24). And as you can tell from my lack of comments, I just keep blog stalking and randomly giving a comment every few months. This post makes me feel better - because I call my baby by lots of things except his name - and was starting to wonder about that. But now that's it's been a few weeks, I use his name much more.
