Nate, falling asleep on the floor because that's the most comfortable place to sleep (not really, it's terrible and it wreaks of old nasty apartment, but he doesn't seem to mind it. And don't mind the mess. The maid wasn't able to come that day)
Nate, falling asleep after a long day at church. It's hard being so spiritual, it takes a lot out of a man (or woman). Now that I think of it, it's surprising that I don't get as tired that often.
Nate, falling asleep spooning the stair...hmmm?
Again, Nate falling asleep doing dental work. Actually, this is the only picture where he's warranted to be sleeping. It was, after all, 2:00 in the morning (I was out with some of the girls). His heart was in the right place trying to stay up for me, but the poor boy didn't stand a chance.
I decided to post a couple of other non-Nate related pictures so my husband wouldn't feel totally singled out.
And last, but most definitely not least;
I like to call this picture sleeping beauty. Look at the calmness and serenity in my face. All nestled in and dreaming peacefully. This picture was taken almost 7 years ago when Nate and I first got married (you can tell by the bangs. That was definitely not a good bang day). I'm not sure what possessed Nate to take this picture. Perhaps it was the fact that I looked like an angel sleeping there with my *Blankie tucked around my head like a halo.
This, my friends, is the first and last picture Nate has ever got of me asleep. That doesn't mean that I don't nap, that just means that Nate's far more considerate than I am, but we already knew that.
*Laugh if you must, but truth be told I had a blankie that I slept with every night wrapped around my head in that very same position. I finally got rid of it about a year after we were married ((sigh)).

I have been known to have a nap or two right on the old carpet. Actually that is usually my favorite place. There is something about laying on the floor when you are tired that makes that floor like a sealy posturepedic. And nothing wrong with the blanket Ginnie. I didn't keep the blanket the same duration that you did but even Deacon loved my blanket. My blanket instead of keeping you warm actually had the magic ability to stay cold. Call me crazy but it's true.
Hilarious! Love the one with the sharp tool in hand.
Love it. That must have been really funny seeing him asleep like that on the stair. Is that at your parents house? Even funnier.
So funny - but the melted chocolate picture KILLS me!!
Love that the gloves are still on.
Oh my gosh, I think that is the funniest blog I have ever seen. You are hilarious! I always have to check your blog because it's so funny.
Those pics gave me a good idea! Adam and Nate need to have a sleeping contest, he is the same way.... drives me nuts sometimes!
Love it. Just to make you feel better, I slept with my blankie until probably two years into our marriage.
Oh Ginnie your a funny girl. That was funny. I do love the sleeping pictures of Nate. I can't believe that sleeping at the kitchen table with his head back on that hard chair would be comfortable. It hurts my neck just looking at it. I can't even look at the picture of kaleb its kinda scary. ahhh
You look to comfy with your blanky, I think you should have kept that security blanky. We are the security blankies for everyone else. I think we need one also. I think I'll go find my baby blanket to feel all secure and loved!!!
that is me by the way. Jenny your very favorite person!!!
Shame on you for treating your husband like this. Dentures could put anyone to sleep.
Ginnie i seriously was laughing so hard at the picture of you that i spilled hot chocolate on myself. i love that nate can fall asleep like that! my mom is almost as bad as nate, she falls asleep at dr. appointments and stuff.
