Today just happens to be a very exciting day
in the life of a 6 (almost 7 year old).
It just happens to be the 1st day of 1st grade
and this 6 (almost 7 year old) little girl could not stop smiling.

It also happens to be just another average daywhere Kaleb graces us (and the neighbors) with his mild nudity.
I think it was a better first day than last year.

How very exciting, for her yes and also for momma. Off they go into the big wide world and come home to explain that you (the parent) knows nothing and that teacher knows everything. Or maybe that's just my experience with sending my firstborn off to first grade. I wish her well.
PS. I love that her schoolbag is half her bodysize

How exciting. How did she manage to grow up so much in just one year. She looks so much older then kindergarten.
Such a PRETTY girl! Addison will be jealous of her teeth!! She's very concerned that she hasn't lost a tooth yet and is in first grade.
