All is Quiet on the Western Front

*This must be documented because it might not ever happen again.

Silence at my house is never a good thing. It usually means one of two things;
1. Someone has stopped breathing.
or
2. Someone is getting into massive amounts of trouble.

There has never been an option 3 up until this point in my life, which is now...

3. The kids are playing peacefully together. TOGETHER. IN PEACE AND HARMONY. ALL THREE OF THEM... PLAYING. This is truly a rare moment for me. It's not only the fact that they're playing, but the fact that they've been playing together for almost 5 hours straight without fighting, without complaining, without hanging on me. This moment is indeed monumental. Let the choir of angels sing.

The only time my kids play really well together is when I ask them to clean their rooms. They will find anything else to do except for cleaning their rooms and if that something else happens to be playing together then so be it. The rooms can wait...

at least until tomorrow.
And perhaps they'll play longer then, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
