In the words of Bono, "It's not a hill, it's a mountain..."

I'm trying to come up with sock conservation plan.
I'm thinking something along the lines of the three R's of sock wearing:
Rewear, Reuse, & Recycle.
I've been trying hard to have a clean sock pile as opposed to a dirty sock pile since this post. I must also say that Nate's sock collection has probably tripled in size since then too.

It's called FLIP FLOPS!!! :-)
I hate the sock pile too. My kids don't wear socks during the summer.
So my mom made us safety pin our socks together if we wanted them washed. If they weren't pinned, she wouldn't wash OR if she found that you had the most unpinned socks in the pile, you had the dreaded task of mating them.
My brothers still pin their socks together. Personally, I like mating socks. It's like a big puzzle. Unless we're trying to find socks for church, then I'm suddenly wishing I would have listened to my mom and used safety pins.
Anyway, give it a try!
PS- let's plan a park day soon.
I was just thinking about taking pictures of all muy laundry laying around the house right now...2 days worth and its out of control!! Mitchs socks reach maximine numbers...he has a trillion pairs, he has a whole drawer dedicated to socks, It must be a man thing.
