Melts in the hands, not in the mouth

The life of a Mom is scattered with many moments that can either make you laugh or cry... or make you go on a high dose of anti-depressants.

Today, although the other two options were completely feasible, I chose to laugh.

My dearest Macie; how I love her so, despite her sneaky and naughty ways. Getting into trouble has just become something to be expected by Macie. Usually it's marker or crayon drawn all over the wall or smearing poopie diapers on the floor. This time that was not the case.

This is Macie. Her face rendered unrecognizable due to the massive amounts of...

chocolate (I had you fooled for minute).

All I could do when I saw this little smeared chocolate face was laugh... laugh...
and laugh some more.
The laughing stopped right about the time that I realized I was the one who actually had to clean up the mess. Yep, really not so funny at all.

Note to self: find better hiding place for chocolate or duct tape Macie's hands together.

what a good girl--learning that chocolate is good for her at a very young age.

Oh my gosh!! That is SO funny! How on earth did she get it all over her face like that? I can't quit laughing. She is quite a crafty little one. :)

Nice try. I know you just wanted attention and something to talk about in your blog. Poor kid. I can't believe you would do that to her. (I think I'm the only guy that comments!).

okay too funny, and I love the groucho Marx eyebrows the chocolate gave her. Although I am sure a chocolate facial is nice and all I would prefer to eat it personally.

It is nice to know that little girls can make just as big of a mess as little boys! Thanks for the laugh!

I think she may have a thing for chocolate, am I wrong? Hey it could have been poop, and that would have been a real crappy situation. My middle one did the whole poop smearing thing for a few months. Thank god it is over now. That was one that I didn't choose to laugh about, lol.

She looked like a burn victim for a minute there. Glad it's just chocolate. That is so funny. I have never seen so much chocolate on one little face!

Great pictures, I am laughing my head off. It looks like the chocolate is embedded in her eyebrows. I bet you had fun cleaning that up. Funny that she loves chocolate so much.

She's cute even with the messy face!
