In general, I like to see what other bloggers are listening to. Sometimes I even go straight to iTunes to purchase the same. However, it can scare the snot out of you if you aren't expecting it and have your volume way up. Perhaps you could compromise and leave your player intact but turned off. That way, readers still have access to your tunes but can turn on the music at will. That's my 2 cents.
that's funny I was thinking about this subject today, thinking I was going to take my music player off. :)
you know where i'm at--i love music on blogs and i have music on my blog. most people don't like it, but they also are reading with their speakers off generally.
i am not, and currently am enjoying your "freefallin'" by the mayer.

gee, Abrie must be going to some fancy private school where she learns chinese, sign language, and computer programing. i thought regular public school didn't start for another month!
