Let's get technical

So my family is having a "family reunion" this week, which I will not be apart of (yay for them, sad for me). The question is why are they calling it a family reunion if the WHOLE family isn't going to be there. So technically, it shouldn't be called a "family reunion" it would be more appropriate to call it a "partial family get together". Actually, I would prefer it to be called "a partial family, so sad the favorite, most fun (sister, aunt, daughter) will not be here and we will not have any fun with out her, get together"...ya, I like the sound of that much better. So I hope they manage to have some fun with out me after all,... A PARTY'S NOT A PARTY UNLESS I'M THERE... at least that's what I like to tell myself.
