Well, Hello... fellow friends. It is two great acts of selfless sacrifice that brings me to this blog. The first is my wife’s. I whole heartedly support her in her endevours of doing uplifting activities and second, I could be utilizing my time much more effectively by taking a nap of course. Yes... this is what I look like with my eyes open.
It is this subject that I would like to address today... sleep. I have to say that my wife totally wears me out! No... just kidding! (okay maybe in just a micro way...) Anyway, I'm sure you all can attest to her energy and liveliness. That being said, I would like to share a couple thoughts on sleep that each of us may consider. I could probably share some priceless pearls of wisdom on sleep but, I have discovered some perfect little nuggets (by others, more well spoken than I) that in every way describe this subject and back up every picture posted previously.
So about sleep...
William Shakespeare said in Macbeth:
Sleep that knits up the ravelled sleave of care
The death of each day's life, sore labour's bath
Balm of hurt minds, great nature's second course,
Chief nourisher in life's feast.
(Balm? Chief Nourisher? Labour's bath? Absolutely!)

Without enough sleep, we all become tall two-year-olds.

Consciousness= that annoying time between naps.
Wilson Mizener:
The amount of sleep required by the average person is five minutes more.
(I'm not sure how accurate this one is though. I support the principle, but I think 10-15 more minutes might be more appropriate.)
The truth behind the Zzzzzzzzz's is much better explained by the Famous football coach named "Coach of the Century" by ESPN. This coach, as we all know, is Vince Lombardi. He said:
"Leaders are made, they are not born. They are made by hard effort, which is the price which all of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile."
"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is the moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle-victorious."
This is the true meaning behind those "incriminating" photos. School, professors over my shoulder, crazy patients, then three kids and wife after school, all contribute to the Lead Lids, but I’d like to view it another way.
You have all seen pics of the fam. I have to admit, that is one good looking family if I do say so myself.

Now... I see our lives as a work in progress toward success and by the looks of my beautiful hard working wife a handsome kids; I see those incriminating photos as me after "working my heart out in a good cause and lying exhausted on the field of battle-victorious." I am the luckiest Dad and Husband alive. I am so blessed with a great wife and kids I can hardly "stay awake" over it. And that is what I have to say about that. Until next time...

Zzzzzzzzz....oops! Sorry Nate, I fell asleep during the middle of your blog. Maybe that is what you intended to happen so your blog would have a greater impact. If so, well done! If that's not what you wanted to happen, I will still thank you for the much needed rest.
It is said that cows can sleep while standing up I have often wished I had that skill. It appears to me that you may be very close to discovering that same skill. If you some how come across that discovery, please share it with all of us.
I leave you now with this quote;
A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor's book
— Irish proverb
I must admit I enjoyed the "incriminating photos", but it is good to see you with your eyes open Nate! I can only imagine how exhausted you must be from all the school, studying, and trying to find time to spend with your fam. It's getting closer to the end! Your doing a great job, keep it up! Enjoyed hearing from you...watch out you may get addicted like the rest of us...
I indeed love too sleep also me and you share that talent Nate, I too can fall asleep anywhere within 5 seconds. I must be our relaxed personalities??? I don't know how relaxed I am lately, sleep seems to be a especally precious thing with a 2 week old baby. I wish I didn't need so much sleep. You do have a beautiful family. You are a great Dad cause I saw it first hand when I was there visiting. Your a very caring husband and that is a great thing for Ginnie. We all need a caring husband around. So good job and I'll see you soon. Jenny Noble
Nathan-
This is Ben Noble. I love everything you said, and I love you. I have a present for you (that isn't jewelry related) when you come back out to Zion (actually, in my opinion, you live in the real Zion--stay real. Word.
Ginnie-
Nice work here. You are a true blogster. Helping Jenny get all blogged up will be good for her socialness and a good creative outlet. Maybe down the road, you can help me learn the art of the blog.
I am probably blogging too much so I am going to close up now. Peace out my negroes.
BEN
