On to other matters of business...
Kaleb and Abrie started school at this cute little Lutheran school down the street. (There is a whole other story about how that came to pass, but I will save it for another day). The kids absolutely love it. Actually, I probably love it more than the kids. Abrie said to me the other day, "Mom, we pray at school" I was aware of the fact that the kids would be praying at school and I welcomed it. I think it is great that my kids can go to school to learn their ABC's and 123's and still have christian based principles taught. So after she told my about praying my response was, "oh ya,...tell me about it" Abrie: "we fold our hands like this..." she proceeds to clasp her hands in front of her, "and we sing Oh, our Father, Oh, our Father..." to the tune of Where is Thumbkin, "...and Mom, we get to keep our eyes open and everything....Mom, I like praying like that!". Apparently I'll have to see what I can do about spicing up prayer time around our house.
Any way, so since I've already posted pictures of Abrie I decided that Kaleb needs his moment in the spotlight (as if he's not in the spotlight enough as it is). So here you have it, my grown up little boy and his first day of school.

Your kids grew up fast!
Look at your muscles woman!! You look great.
I like how you are soliciting your words of wisdom.. ha :) I bet your talk was great!
I agree with you about the school thing.. that's really cool that your kids can have that exposure to prayer and whatnot. I'm interested in what you come up with in terms of spricing your own up :)
Your talk was great, at least the parts I was able to hear over Oliver's screaming.
Hey I'm so glad your talk went well. I'll bet your congregation went nuts at the beginning with your funny joke?... Well I'm so glad to see caleb at school it does us mommies a world of good to get ride of those 3 year olds for a minute. Go Lutheran's, if i wasn't LDS I would be a Lutheran, I like praying with my eyes open and to a tune that is great. Have a good day. jen
Why does it say jennifer wierd, I like jenny better. oh well
Wow, Kaleb looks just like you in that pic w/ your arm around him. So cute.
My daughter went to baptist preschool for a few months and also learned some interesting prayers;) It's okay, she still believes our church is true. We've been in our ward here for a few months and my husband spoke, but so far I've lucked out!!
I love caleb's big cheesy grin in the last photo! Your little ones are looking so grown up and so adult like going off to school with their backpacks!
Oh, I'm sure your talk was wonderful, sorry that I missed it.
